Happy May Day! The annual Spring Band concert will feature both the Concert and Symphony Bands. The doors to the auditorium will open for audience members at 6:40 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public!

Students should plan to be at the school by 6:15 p.m. Wind Symphony will meet in the north band room, while the Concert Band will meet on stage.

Concert Dress

At our last concert, some of our black and white concert dress had drifted quite a bit from expectations. We have three concert band performances remaining and we want to look as good as we sound, so please adhere to the following guidelines:

Acceptable concert attire

• Black suit with a white shirt and a tie

• Black slacks with a white shirt and a tie

• Black dress shoes

• Black dress that extends beyond your knees when seated and covers your shoulders

Unacceptable concert attire

• White polo shirt

• Black jeans or leggings

• Torn or distressed clothing

• Black sneakers or athletic shoes

• White shoes

• Short skirt that expose your knees when you sit

• Tops that expose your shoulders
