SPECTATOR INFORMATION

Please note that due to construction at Pella High School, the competition is taking place at Pella Christian High School.

  • Due to the smaller size of PCHS, the stadium is being entirely cleared after the conclusion of the 2A/3A portion of the competition.

    • Ticket sales for the 4A portion will begin at 7:30 pm, 4A bands begin competing at 8:15 pm, and the Royal Brigade takes the field at 9:00 pm.

    • 4A Awards are slated to take place at 10:45 pm.

  • Just like the Bands of American Regional and the Waukee Marching Invitational are fundraisers for our band program, so is the MD! for Pella. Please consider supporting them by eating at their concessions stand.

AFTER COMPETITION INFORMATION

  • If you would like to take your student home with you after the competition, you are welcome to do so. Please know the following, however:

    • Students will not be released until after awards, at approximately 11:00 pm.

    • If you plan to take your students after the show, please let me know in writing (text or email is fine), and then be sure to check with either Mr. Strohmaier or myself prior to leaving. This is so we can ensure all students are safe and accounted for.

    • Your student is still responsible for their own instrument/equipment. They either need to take it with them, or arrange for someone to unload it and put it away once we return to Northwest.

  • Our estimated return time to Northwest is 12:30 am.

    • We will have students who do not drive text their rides as we are arriving back at school.

    • Students will not be dismissed to go home until all the trucks have been unloaded and all equipment has been put away.
