The Des Moines Symphony Youth Symphony and Youth Wind Ensemble auditions are next week.

Auditions are on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 27-28 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Temple for Performing Arts (1011 Locust in Des Moines).

Students are asked to prepare a short musical selection that demonstrates their current ability level.

The Symphony Academy also runs a jazz ensemble, which will hold auditions later in the year.
